I. POLITICS
Hello everybody! I hope you are all fine. In today’s blog I am going to talk a bit about how my
vision about politics has changed.
Despite growing up in a home with really marked right-wing thoughts and, have been
repeatedly told that politics is not a topic you should talk about, my ideology has always been
linked to a left-wing kind of view. Although I could only identify it as left-wing ideology when I
was older.
My parents always keep telling me that politics was a issue where you can’t change anything.
Politics is what it is and, there is nothing you can do about it. You just must keep working and
not to worry about matters in which we do not have real interference. However, I had a lot of
concerns and could not believe that everything was so static.
In the beginning, when I started to get interested in the subject, I had a hard time
understanding how something that was so strange for me, could have real repercussions in my
life. But, little by little, I began to understand. And, thanks to some schoolteachers who taught
me how to be confidence in talking about my ideas and concerns aloud, something that I find
hard to do when you are a woman who wants to talk about politics.
Politics stopped being something that I did not have a part off into an important part of my
life. Finally, I understood how to play this game and that, if I am not content with its rules, I
must play to change them.

i really liked your post, and i think your last reflection was spot on!
